Medavia is an EASA 145 maintenance organisation and holds line and base maintenance approvals for a variety of aircraft including CASA 212, DHC-6, DHC-8-100/200/300, Beechcraft B1900 series and Dornier 328 T/P. The facility also caters for other aircraft on an ad-hoc basis.
The base maintenance facility is located at the Malta International Airport where a modern 3,500 sqm hangar is fully equipped to meet all maintenance needs and requirements. At this base Medavia has the capability of offering specialised maintenance including:
- Aircraft painting
- NDT: x-ray, eddy-current and M.P.I.
- Specialised Avionic support
- Installation of Major Modifications and STC's
The maintenance department also manages line maintenance stations for aircraft operated by the company overseas in other Mediterranean locations as well as Europe and North Africa location.
As well as line and base capabilities Medavia can support your aircraft in an AOG situation in almost any location.
With its own 800 sqm stores facility, as well as its own Purchasing department on site, Medavia really is a 'one-stop-shop' for all your aircraft maintenance needs.
In addition to the above Medavia also has a 2550 sqm aircraft storage hangar for parking facilities which can accommodate both fixed wing and helicopter.
For helicopter arrivals we have the added benefit of a heli-pad just metres for our storage hangar.
