Medavia's main purpose was, and still is, to service the oil sector in North Africa. The Company fleet provides charter flights to various destinations to seismic, drilling and oil production companies.
Over the years Medavia provided air support to many renowned companies in the petroleum industry. All aircraft are operated on a daily basis out of Tripoli International Airport and are presently jointly operating in excess of forty sectors a week. The operation is constantly supported by the company's Tripoli Branch Office and the Flight Operations department at Medavia's Head Office in Malta. With the variety of four aircraft types available for commercial charter, Medavia is very well geared to provide the demanded air support.
